The François Vallé, fils House
The François Vallé, fils House (initially constructed c. 1794) offers exhibits about François Vallé, fils who originally built this home, his role in the late 18th century history of Ste. Genevieve, and the archaeology of this site. Discover how the structure survived and evolved, and the story of the Sexauers, a family who lived here in the late 20th century and helped save this historic house. This location also features a condensed version of Saving St. Louis: Ste. Genevieve and the Battle of Fort San Carlos exhibit, as François Vallé, fils took part in the battle as a young militia officer during the American Revolution.

A tour guide will accompany you over to the house to provide an introduction and answer any questions you might have while you explore the exhibits.
Tour times are:
11:30 AM and 2:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM on Sunday.

Historic House Tours
The Bolduc & LeMeilleur Houses
Guided tours of the Louis Bolduc House (c. 1794) and the Bolduc-LeMeilleur House (c.1820) are available at 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM (no 10:30 on Sundays ONLY). The Bolduc House is the only authentically period-furnished, French colonial structure open to tour in Ste. Genevieve - don't miss this authentic experience of life on the French Colonial frontier.

Living History Programs
On Saturdays from the last weekend in March through the first weekend in November, at the Linden "Living History House" located right across Main Street from the Bolduc House, join us from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for living history programs.
FCA living history specialists will present a series of demonstrations of various late 18th and early 19th century skills and technology, and share stories of everyday life during the colonial and early American time periods in this region. Guests will have opportunities to take part in hands-on activities.
