Online Education
How do we share and teach the stories and history of this relatively unknown colonial period history? Participatory activities, events, guided house tours, museum exhibits, student internships and more!
But, we know not everyone can travel to Sainte Genevieve, Missouri with ease. So, we are creating educational content for the digital world. Below please find some of our current offerings:
French Language House Tour
Are you a native French speaker? Or maybe playing at learning?
Perhaps you're a proven multi-linguist?
Whether you're one of those three, or none of the above, we recently recorded and uploaded a brief French Language tour of our historic Louis Bolduc House for you to view and enjoy.

French Colonial History Virtual Interpretation
Recently, FCA and HEC TV collaborated on a partner project, which was funded by a generous grant from the Missouri Humanities Council. The French Colonial History Virtual Interpretation Pilot Project involved production by HEC of educational videos with content related to Missouri’s unique French Colonial era history. These historic “first-person” presentations were developed and executed by FCA living history staff and are made available online by HEC to augment learning materials for schools, homeschooling groups, and families. Our initial three videos may be found by following these links:
